Most travel guides are one person's trip report. The problem: a single traveller's experience is a single data point. You open ten tabs — blog posts, Reddit threads, TripAdvisor pages — and they all contradict. TripCurator fixes this by aggregating hundreds of verified traveller reviews per guide, filtering out incentivised and outlier reviews, and surfacing what the majority actually experienced. When we say a viewpoint is #1, it scored highest across price, queue time, view quality, and traveller sentiment — not because we liked the photo.
TripCurator is published by the TripCurator Research Lab, a team combining backgrounds in data analysis, travel logistics, and editorial fact-checking. Each guide follows a six-step process: identify what travellers are searching for, collect data from multiple sources (Booking.com, TripAdvisor, Google Maps, official tourism bureaus, and government visa portals), read a minimum of 200 verified reviews per subject, score against fixed rubrics, fact-check against official sources, and timestamp with the last review date. We do not accept free trips or sponsored placements. Affiliate links are disclosed and do not influence rankings. Full methodology →
Start with a destination — each guide covers when to visit, where to stay by area, and how to get around. Then follow a day-by-day itinerary — routes are grouped by geography so you're not criss-crossing the city. Use the comparison pages to decide between options like Hanoi vs Ho Chi Minh City or Kyoto vs Osaka as a base. Check the practical guides for visa walkthroughs, transit navigation, and payment tips before you book. Browse all 18 destinations →
